Arrival & Health
Please arrive on time or 3–5 minutes early. To ensure the best experience, please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or specific areas needing attention before your session. You may include these in your online booking notes or notify us via text or phone call prior to your appointment.
Safety, Comfort & Professionalism
Client Comfort: Your comfort and safety are very important to us. If at any time during your session you feel uncomfortable for any reason, you may ask the provider to adjust the pressure, technique, music, temperature, or draping, or end the session at any time.
Communication: If any action or behavior during the session makes you uncomfortable, please inform the provider immediately and ask that the behavior stop or be adjusted. We also encourage clients to notify management of any concerns as soon as possible so we may address the matter promptly and appropriately.
Draping: Professional draping is strictly required at all times. Clients will remain properly covered with a sheet, and only the area being worked on will be undraped.
Professional Boundaries: We provide professional therapeutic massage and bodywork only. Any inappropriate behavior, sexual comments, gestures, advances, or requests made toward providers or staff will result in immediate termination of the session, and full payment will still be required. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in inappropriate conduct.
Respect & Safety: For the safety and protection of both clients and providers, incidents, inappropriate conduct, or policy violations may be documented and reviewed by management.
Minors: A parent or legal guardian must remain in the room during the entire session for clients under 18 years old. We offer connected rooms so both may relax and enjoy services together. We prefer minors to remain clothed during sessions, though final discretion remains with the parent or guardian.
Cancellations
If something comes up, it is important that you call or text us ( Not Email) in advance, so that we may have a chance to refill the spot. Please do not "no-show" your appointment.
No-Shows/ Late Cancellations ( within 1 hr)
Prepaid sessions may be forfeited for no-shows or cancellations made within 1 hour of the appointment time.
After a no-show or late cancellation, we may also require a non-refundable deposit for future appointments.
Clients who prefer not to place a deposit are always welcome to visit as walk-ins, and we will do our best to accommodate you if a provider is available.
Late Arrivals
If you know you will be more than 5 minutes late, please call or text us (Not Email) as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot compromise the quality or timing of the next client’s session.
Liability Waiver
By booking and receiving services, you acknowledge that massage therapy and bodywork are provided for relaxation and wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for medical care or diagnosis.
By booking an appointment, you agree to release your provider and Acu Massage from liabilities relating to ordinary risks associated with massage therapy and bodywork services, except where prohibited by law.
