Swedish massage is the most popular type of massage in the United States. The primary goal is to relax the entire body. Light to medium pressure is applied to manipulate the muscles with long gliding stokes. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
Many athletes, personal trainers and body builders love to receive a Swedish Massage on the rest days to help their muscles recover and grow!
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, sore shoulders, and low back pain. Firm to deep pressure is applied by he therapist's thumbs, fingers, forearms or elbows.
We can add Walk On the Back if you want an even deeper massage. Acupressure and, or Triger Point Therapy are often incorporated into a deep tissue session.
Walk On the Back Massage

Acupressure is a thousands-year-old form of massage therapy that involves applying pressure to certain points on the body to address ailments. According to traditional Chinese medicine, people have meridians or channels throughout the body. Qi, which is understood as a life-sustaining energy force, runs along those meridians. Qi can become stuck at some points along the meridians, and the goal of acupressure is to keep the energy flowing using pressure at specific points. Naturally, the practice has many associated benefits. As with any form of massage, a huge perk of acupressure is relaxation, one that you can get behind even if you doubt the existence of meridians. Acupressure is often used for pain relief.
Acupressure could be incorporated in any massage sessions when needed.
If your muscles are tight or your joints have limited range of motion, consider incorporating assisted stretching into your massage. When combined with regular massage, stretching can help your massage therapist work more effectively with less restriction.
Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body.
The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up. Lymphatic drainage massages can benefit people with lymphedema, fibromyalgia, and other conditions.
Lomi lomi is an ancient Hawaiian restorative healing system, one component of which is the art of compassionate touch. It includes many techniques, some of which are similar to what we learn in Swedish massage, while others are similar to Asian bodywork techniques. The strokes are done with the hands and forearms and are often long and sweeping, much like long, rolling waves traveling along the body.
Lomilomi, sometimes called Hawaiian massage, is beneficial for many ailments and to increase spiritual energy and personal power (mana). The nurturing strokes are relaxing; however, one soon learns this work is therapeutic on all levels.

Foot Reflexology has been practiced in many cultures for centuries to promote health and well-being. Today, reflexology is considered a complementary and alternative medicine.
Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment, the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles by taking specific reflex points on the foot to induce a healing response in corresponding organs and areas of the body.
